Clip-in hair extensions can last up to a year with proper care, while weft and keratin bond hair extensions can last up to -- months  before they need to be removed and reinstalled. Nano beads and stick tips can last up to 8 weeks before the need a maintenance, Anything after 8 weeks would need to be removed and reinstalled for these two methods of hair extensions.

Can I wear my hair up with hair extensions?

Yes, you can wear your hair up with hair extensions. However, it is important to be gentle when putting your hair up and taking it down to avoid pulling on the extensions and causing damage.

Can i colour my hair extensions?

This depends on the type of hair extension you have. Clip-in hair extensions made from human hair can be coloured just like your natural hair, but synthetic hair extensions cannot be coloured.  Tape in, sew-in, keratin bonds, stick tips and nano beads can all be coloured, but it is best to have it done by a professional to avoid damaging the extensions.

Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?

If installed and maintained properly, hair extensions should not damage your natural hair. However, if the hair extensions are installed too tightly or not cared for properly, the can cause damage to your natural hair.

Can i swim with hair extensions?

It is possible to swim with hair extensions but it is important to take proper precautions. Chlorine and saltwater can damage the hair extensions, so it is recommended to wear a swim cap or tie your hair up in a bun to keep it out of the water.

How often should I wash my hair with extensions?

This depends on the type of hair extensions you have and how often you wear them. Clip-in hair extensions can be washed after every use, while weft, keratin bonds, nano beads and stick tips should be washed once a week. It is important to use sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and to be gentle when washing the hair extensions to avoid tangling and matting. Do not brush the hair extensions while the hair is still wet as this could help the extensions slide down the hair.

Can I style my hair extensions with heat tools?

You will need to wait at least 72 hours before washing your hair to allow the keratin to fully bond to the hair.

What do I do if I get any kinks in my hair during the first 72 hours after treatment?

During the first 72 hours after treatment, it is important to try and keep your hair as it was once you left the stylist. If you get any kinks in the hair during this time period, run the straighteners over it to flatten the hair back down.

Can I still Style my hair after the treatment?

Yes you can still style your hair after the treatment, but strictly only straighten the hair and leave your hair down and do not tuck your hair behind your ears for the first 72 hours. After this you can style your hair how ever you like and it will be easier to manage and style due to the effect of the smoothing treatment.

Can the treatment be done on damaged or chemically treated hair?

Yes, the treatment can be done on damaged or chemically treated hair, but it is important to discuss your hair's condition with your stylist before the treatment. If your hair is severely damaged, the stylist may recommend waiting until it has fully recovered before getting the treatment.

How often can the treatment be done?

Its recommended to wait at least three to four months between treatments to allow the hair to recover and maintain its health.

Will the treatment completely straighten my hair?

The treatment is designed to reduce frizz and make the hair more manageable, but it's not a straightening treatment. The extent to your hair will be straightened depends on your hair type and the amount of curl or wave in your hair.
